FAQs

Got a question? We’re here to help.

  • What is Halotherapy?

Halotherapy is a dry salt therapy using a machine called a halogenerator to disperse Pure Grade Sodium Chloride (salt) into a salt room, salt cave, or salt chamber which will aid respiratory concerns and skin conditions.

  • How long do the sessions last?

Our sessions last 40 mins, after the session we vent the rooms for 15 mins, removing any impurities ready for the next session.

  • What should I wear?

Wear whatever makes you comfortable, there will be salt residue on your clothing but it just brushes off, we have clothes brushes and shoe covers available. Lighter shades won't show salt up as much as dark shades. If you want to expose your skin then shorts/ gym tops etc might be an option.

  • How many sessions do I need?

Depending on what you're looking for this will vary. It's good to start off with some sessions close together and then you can spread them a little more (we recommend 3-4 in your 1st week to 10 days). Once you have the relief you were looking for, you can start to spread out your sessions to be less often. Some people use it until they feel the relief they were looking for and some use it to prep for sports events etc, but mostly it's used as a constant treatment. There's a guide in our Packages section that might help you understand what's recommended.

  • Is there side effects?

There's no harmful side effects. You might get a small cough, tickly throat or runny nose after a session, but that will be because the mucus and toxins are breaking down.

  • Is it safe for children?

Absolutely! It's 100% natural, drug free and non-invasive. If you've any concerns consult with a healthcare professional. Children tend to respond more quickly to the treatments than adults and the benefits are fantastic for their physical and mental wellbeing.

  • Is there an age limit?

Our therapy is completley natural and is ok for all ages, we take from 3months old and up.
